1.4404 SS316L Stainless Steel Round Bar is a low-carbon austenitic steel (also known as AISI 316L/UNS S31603) with added molybdenum, giving it excellent corrosion resistance, especially in chloride and acidic environments, making it ideal for applications in the chemical, medical, food, and marine industries where durability, weldability, and resistance to pitting are crucial, even in heavy-gauge welded parts.

The stainless steel 316L round bars are manufactured using a forging process. They conform to ASTM A276, ASTM A479, and ASTM A182 standards. These round bars undergo hardening treatments such as hot drawing, cold drawing, and annealing. The grade is UNS S31603. These round bars are available in various standard sizes, with lengths ranging from 1 to 6 meters, and shapes including hexagonal, square, round, rectangular, billets, and ingots. Custom sizes are also available upon request. Surface finishes include matte, BA finish, rough turning, and black bright polishing.
